An administrative specialist is responsible for overseeing a variety of tasks and projects related to office management and business processes. They may handle general clerical tasks such as answering phones, organizing data, shipping/receiving and ordering supplies. They may also coordinate and run events, draft, and justify budgets, manage calendars, schedule travel, and provide support to other departments. They may meet with clients who visit the company and support upper management with expected visits.

Responsibilities:
Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations
Handling information requests
Planning conferences and meetings
Fulfilling employment administration requirements
Making travel arrangements
Maintaining calendars and schedules
Preparing and processing documents
Arranging meetings and appointments
Monitoring the budgets and expenditures
Answering calls and correspondence
Handling the inventory and procurement of office supplies
Performing general clerical tasks
Communicating with and greeting clients
Responding to phone calls and emails
Managing/replenishing modules samples and office supplies
Coordinating with other staff for event planning and customer visits
Assisting the senior management with complex functions
Preparation, shipping/receiving of all sample tasks, customer devices, and equipment for other FAE
Liaison for communications, especially for improvement projects
Ordering (in SAP and emailing), intake, recording, storing new orders
