Top rated, multi-office medical practice is looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager to provide supervisory oversight over all facets of the billing & collections department including claims processing, accounts receivable and revenue management.
Responsibilities include:
Oversight of revenue management from claims review and submission through payment posting, resolution of denied/rejected claims, collections, and reporting.
Working knowledge of practice management software and clearinghouse vendors
Oversight and performance review of all operations and billing staff.
Monitoring of monthly aging reports and unpaid claims
Conducting regular audits of billing to identify coding and billing errors.
Training billing staff and development of quality improvement metrics for increased performance and revenue cycle management.
Requirements:
5 + years' experience supervising a staff of at least 15 in a physicians' office setting.
Working with insurance payers, HMO, PPO, Medicare/Medicaid, and other insurance carriers.
Proficiency in the use/implementation of practice management and EHR software systems (E-Clinical works preferred) as well MS Office applications.
