Compensation: $35-40 per hour
Description: We are seeking Mechanical Designers to join our dynamic team. This role will play a crucial part in the design and development of aerospace components, directly impacting the future of space exploration. The ideal candidates will be adept in CAD software, particularly Creo and Windchill, and possess substantial drafting and design experience.
Responsibilities:
Design and create 3D models and drawings for aerospace components and systems.
Maintain and modify existing designs to meet technical requirements.
Engage in the entire lifecycle of product development from concept to layout, drawing, and assembly.
Provide technical input and support to design teams and internal stakeholders.
Manage large CAD assemblies and associated documentation.
Top 3-5 Technical Skills Needed:
Proficiency in Creo and Windchill; experience with Catia is a plus.
Extensive experience in drafting and working with large assemblies.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience in an aerospace tooling department is beneficial but not required.
