Job Description:
This is an onsite position located in Las Vegas Nevada, no remote work will be considered.BIM SYSTEM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create Upgrade and Deployment strategies for the BIM implementation project.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and enforcement of Company BIM standards.
- Develop and maintain the Company's internal BIM execution plan. Advise on project-specific execution plans.
- Create and maintain the project template and family/detail libraries to both enhance productivity and ensure standards.
- Provide support for plotting and electronic file submissions.
- Automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity.
- Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards.
- Train employees on Revit and related software as needed.
- Chair the Company BIM committee.
- Represent the Company in regards to BIM / VDC coordination with Clients, Consultants and Contractors.
- Create written technology evaluations and budgets for future technology adoption that aligns with the Company's business needs.
- Manage BIM software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases and customization of the products.
- Research, evaluate, and manage the implementation of new supporting software for BIM.
- Stay informed on best practices for the use of Revit and BIM.
- Provide Hardware, Software, and Network support as it relates to BIM and Revit.
- Troubleshoot problems with BIM and Revit.
- Liaison with product vendors and Corporate IT staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with Company employees as well as with clients.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, handling sensitive information concerning both the Company and clients.
- Adept at multi-tasking, with exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit AND BIM
- Capable of creating a team atmosphere leading to successful completion of projects.
- Assist direct reporting staff by offering input and solutions to project issues, ensuring consistency and quality on all projects.
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Commercial Architecture.
