The Production Manager will be responsible for owning and executing all aspects of the production process to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of our products. You will lead a team of production supervisors and workers, driving productivity, quality, and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes. Focuses on driving accountability through metrics and KPI's.
How You Will Do It
Executing on production plans to meet customer demands, revenue forecasts and commitments.
Manage and optimize resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Metric Driven Management - Accountable via reports and data analysis.
Fosters environment of ownership and accountability.
Creates sustainable change in operations practices to improve the business
Partner with Engineering Teams to input quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Lead, motivate and develop a team of production supervisors by providing timely performance feedback and accountability.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes.
Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety among production staff.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and overall performance.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee development.
What We Look For
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Hungry, Driven, Self-Motivated and takes initiative in an ambiguous environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and quality control.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems (Oracle).
