The Data, Insight, & Analytics (DIA) team at Insight Global drives organization-wide reporting, data science, data governance and machine learning initiatives at scale. The Manager of Master Data Management in DIA will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining robust data management practices across the organization. For this role, Insight Global is looking for someone who is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles. This position requires someone who can lead initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability, enabling informed data-driven decision-making enterprise-wide focused on mastery of customer and financial data domains. With the goal of turning Insight Global into a world class data company.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
development strategy of customer domain of data lake
relationships, data models, and data structures required for fully integrated customer data
business processes and procedures that impact customer data to maintain data integrity and quality
all requirements needed to meet the analytical goals desired by the various business areas
to develop automated solutions around customer data and overall duplicate management
cross-functionally to ensure that data engineers, data architects, and other relevant data resources understand strategy, solution design, development, delivery and operation goals
and maximize leverage of digital technologies into the data management strategy including Automation, advanced analytics, etc.
Improve data quality through focused data governance programs and processes
for the design and implementation of strategies to ensure comprehensive data governance practices that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the effective management and use of data
overall data quality within the data catalog, including identifying, monitoring, and prioritization of issues
and address data quality issues through root cause analysis and proactive measures
risks, issues and decisions are escalated to senior leadership
with all front-line business units and functional groups by translating data governance requirements into actionable business processes

Strong understanding of data governance principles
Must Haves:
2+ years of experience in data governance and/or data management in complex corporate environments; including MDM design, development, support and operations using MDM suite of tools
with relevant tools and technologies in the data management space
to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, with the ability to make complex concepts simple and make data-driven decisions
Good communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with business, Analytics, and IT stakeholders
Pluses:
Experience with Customer data preferred
Focus on strategy of incorporating data warehouse with automation suite
