Role: Front End Engineer

Client: Amazon

Location : Seattle, WA

Below is the job requirements:

Basic qualifications

Programming experience with at least one or two softwareprogramming languages.

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Solid understanding of responsive web design principlesand cross-browser compatibility.

Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

Experience with testing and debugging frontendapplications.

Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to consumethem from the frontend.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with TypeScript or other statically-typed languages.

Knowledge of backend technologies, such as Node.js or Python.

Familiarity with frontend build tools, such as Webpackor Gulp.

Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to create visuallyappealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Experience with performance optimization techniques for frontendapplications.

Knowledge of accessibility standardsand best practices.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Passion for staying updated with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends.

Role Expectations:

You own team architecture, providing a system-wide view and design guidance. You are a key influencer in team strategy and goals.

You enable your team to rapidly solve difficult UX problems through either visual or architectural design patterns and effective collaboration with design and product teams.

You identify areas within the UX that might be roadblocks for customers and influence stakeholders to improve the UX. This includes but is not limited to issues around accessibility, security, and performance.

You work on problems where the customercase is defined, but the technology strategymay not yet be defined.

You work to clearly understand the problems you're solving before moving on to solutions. You drive productive discussions with customers, peers, and stakeholders such as designers and product managers.

You understand the business impact of your systems and show good judgment when making technical trade-offs between your team's short and long-term needs.

You understand that many problemsare not new and explore re-use or extending existingsolutions first.

You work on problems with multiple risks and roadblocks using solutions that are as simple as possible, both directly, through others on your team, as well as the product requirements. You develop an understanding of these problems in a way that lets you explain them to others in simple, concise terms.

Where your work involves other teams with their own priorities, you create the right checkpoints to ensure a successful delivery.

You set a culture of robust software development. Your personal coding practices are exemplary in terms of code organization, clarity, accessibility, simplicity, error handling, and documentation.
