Description: Our Client Is Currently Seeking A Procurement / Inventory Specialist. Preferred Candidates Must Have Previous Procurement and Logistics/Warehouse Exposure.



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Identify key suppliers to enhance and develop ongoing relationships
  
  


• Handle stock and customer orders on a daily basis.


• Monitor inventory turns.


• Understand supplier return policies and procedure


• Audit price accuracy across branches.


• Regularly review outstanding stock, customer, and backorders.


• Identify and report vendor promotions


• Plan and audit cycle counts.


• Schedule and lead annual physical inventories.


• Conduct an audit of price accuracies.
  
  


• Conduct a daily review of negative on-hand inventory.


• Regularly train site staff in proper inventory control techniques and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BS Degree preferred, BUT not limited
• 4+ years experience in a logistics/procurement environment
• Must be able to be self disciplined
• Great negotiation skills


• Strong ERP knowledge
• Excellent pricing, cycle count, inventory control experience
• Must be ok with working on-site


• Willing to learn with a positive attitude
