Job Title:Financial Operations CoordinatorDepartment:Arts and Sciences | Earth Sciences

The Financial Operations Coordinator provides service in day-to-day departmental fiscal and administrative operations in the School of Earth Sciences; supports School manager in the development of departmental fiscal policies, including the appropriate operation of a wide range of funds; maintains financial accounting records and reconciliation checklists (reconciliation including: initiates accounting adjustments/journals/payroll accounting adjustments to maintains financial accounting records/follow up with purchase orders/payments); acts as the purchasing card manager; ensures processing of financial transactions in accordance with fiscal policies, including accounts payable, accounts receivable (with billing/deposits), purchasing and payroll accounting; initiates travel expenses and procurement requests for school programs, events, classes and external guests; initiates payroll transactions; acts as the Surplus Coordinator and Asset Coordinator; manages the school van; performs other duties as required.




Qualifications:




Required: High School diploma or GED. 1 year of relevant experience required.




Desired: 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Certification or vocational training may be preferred.

The pay range for this job profile is $16.06 to $21.42. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
