Job Title:Post Doctoral ScholarDepartment:Pharmacy | Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology

The lab of Dr. Rajgopal Govindarajan studies solute carrier drug transporters and their role in drug efficacy and toxicity as it relates to cancer, HIV, and certain human genetic disorders. The lab is currently seeking a motivated individual with experience in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and/or pharmaceutical (analytical) techniques to work on an exciting project involving nucleoside drug transporters and their role in metabolism and cancer. Functioning independently, the Postdoctoral Scholar will design, organize, and conduct highly specialized and advanced experiments using established scientific protocols and procedures and, in some cases, designing new protocols; summarize findings and publish results in research journals; assume general responsibility for scientific operations of the laboratory; aid and guide junior technicians, students, and researchers.



Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in a basic or health science. 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a research environment.
