The University of Chicago's Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science is searching for Clinical Associates at 20% effort for renewable terms of up to two years. Appointees will provide patient care in medical and surgical glaucoma. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent on qualifications and does not include benefits.


Appointees will join a vibrant and distinguished community of colleagues and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, the University of Chicago, and its affiliates.


Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be board certified or eligible in ophthalmology, 4) have completed an ACGME-approved ophthalmology residency or its equivalent, and 5) have completed a glaucoma fellowship.
