Job Description:

- Assistant to the kitchen lead
- assign day task to the staff of the day
- Set up kitchen equipment at the beginning of the day, including setting oven temperatures, turning on gas fryers, and settings for dough conditioner.
- prepare and bake items required for the day, including pastries, breads, cakes and other baked goods
- prepare kitchen and ingredients for the day and the following day
- Check incoming products for quality, and be able to identify and remove damaged+expired goods
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and according to store designs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- clean up kitchen at the end of the shift
- Assist with catering orders and special events as needed


Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pastry or food production is a must
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques, including cake decorating with fresh cream and not butter based cream is a must
- Ability to handle and decorate using fresh cream on pastries, bread, and cakes.
- Proficient knife skills for precise cutting and shaping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
