As an Engineering Manager for Swanson Rink, you will lead a team of mechanical engineers to support specific clients. You will be responsible for understanding all technical areas of a market segment and direct the work of the team in that market. Your Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical engineering design to ensure projects are completed on time, accurately, and in accordance with good engineering practices and client criteria.
- Lead the coordination of the project deliverables along with the Project Management team, BIM team and other project team members to ensure the projects meets the client's expectations.
- Participate in scope and fee development for new project opportunities and contribute to preparation of proposal documents.
- Contribute to the success of your projects in the following areas:
- Lead the team in meeting the expectations of our clients.
- Understand the financial and schedule constraints of your projects.
- Strive for technical excellence.
- Make each project a collaborative experience that fosters teamwork.
- Help support and accelerate staff learning and technical proficiency. Contribute to a positive learning environment and be a mentor to your team members.
- Develop and coordinate specific market segment and discipline specific training for team members.
- Lead by example in development, acceptance and adherence of company policies, processes, and procedures.
Your Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
- Successful performance at this career level typically requires 10 - 15 years of verifiable professional experience in the area of mechanical engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer
- Establishment of an NCEES Record is required upon hire
- Must be available to travel occasionally
- Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Salary of $110,000 - $160,000 and will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
