Position Summary:

The Technology Domain Enterprise Architect (TDEA) is a strategic role that is instrumental in influencing the technological landscape and future roadmap. This role is pivotal in guiding and governing robust architecture across cloud, network, infrastructure, and security technologies, ensuring alignment with the organizational strategies and adherence to best practices.

The TDEA will be accountable for the technology domain in the core enterprise architecture team, responsible for the baseline and target technology architecture, as well as the transition roadmap.  The TDEA will actively contribute to the EA process, architecture chapter/community, technology council, and architecture governance.  The role involves providing thought leadership on current and emerging technologies, communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, and security experts, to ensure that the technology architecture supports the evolving needs of the organization. The TDEA must have a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, as well as the ability to assess their potential impact on the business. Should also demonstrate robust community engagement and advanced communication skills to adeptly steer and sway decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

The TDEA will exhibit competencies across several key dimensions:

Manage the EA technology Architecture Practice:



  • Lead the enterprise technology architecture leveraging the TOGAF architecture development method.




  • Cooperate with architects from Business, Application, Integration, Data, and solution teams, advocating for the value of Enterprise Architecture (EA), and steering the delivery of enterprise technology architecture.




  • Foster intimate relationships with the platform and product teams, to enable business capabilities and supporting solutions that deliver the organization’s targeted business outcomes.




  • Develop a compelling value proposition and execute a communication and education plan for the EA technology vision, principles, and best practices.




  • Collaborate in building the enterprise technology and cloud service catalog to meet organizational needs and stakeholder expectations.



Formulate Strategy and Guide Technology Execution:



  • Engage with technology and security stakeholders in the design and integration of network, cloud, and security architecture.




  • Analyze business requirements, market trends, and technology ecosystem and translate them into quality technology solutions.




  • Drive innovation in infrastructure and architectural practices.




  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies that align with the company’s strategic goals.




  • Lead and promote advisory and knowledge sharing among the technology teams on best practices and standards.




  • Manage risks associated with information and IT assets through appropriate standards, security policies, and building blocks.



Connect Strategy to Technology Execution:



  • Govern and facilitate alignment between various domains and technology solutions, bridging the gap between the strategic plans and great products.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.




  • Demonstrated expertise and a commitment to ongoing professional development in networking, cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and security architecture.




  • Strong understanding of the TOGAF architecture development method; TOGAF certification is a plus.




  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a consumer goods or related industry.




  • Excellent communication, community building, and leadership skills.

  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.

The salary range for this role is:


$134,000.00 - $290,000.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
