Job Description:

CIVIL ENGINEER

The City of Warren is accepting applications for the position of Civil Engineer. This position performs professional civil engineering work in the office or field in connection with the design, investigation, development, maintenance and construction of civil engineering projects; and to perform related work as required. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a college or university of recognized standing with specialization in civil engineering.
• Copy of degree or official sealed transcripts required with application.
• One year of recent (within two years) responsible full- time experience in Civil Engineering and construction work related to municipal public works.
• Must be proficient using Microsoft software (Excel,

Access, Word, PowerPoint) and Microstation or Autocad.

• Must successfully pass the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering exam within 18 months of date of hire.
• Driving record must meet city standards for insurability.
  • Driver’s license required at time of application

Pay rate:  $80,405/year - $96,564/year (after 3 years)
