Job Description

Established Heavy Equipment Rental company seeking Heavy Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians. Must be able to travel to jobsites. General work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays on an as-needed basis. Pay rate will be commensurate with level of experience.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Handle all necessary repairs including the replacement of worn or damaged parts.
• Provide regular servicing using various tools to dismantle and reassemble equipment components.
• Adjust engines, as well as any additional assemblies such as gear transmissions and hydraulics.
• Perform diagnostic testing of equipment. Examine critical parts and operating components of heavy equipment for possible wear and tear, defects, and/or other damage using specialized tools but also trained eyes and ears.
• Test various types of equipment and machines on a regular schedule to ensure all are operating efficiently and safely.
• All tools and testing equipment are provided.
• Familiarity with CAT ET helpful but not required.
