Location: New Orleans, LA
Summary
Works with the Center Director and University personnel to negotiate and manage complex clinical trials and other research contracts of a Center within the Section of Cardiology, Deming Department in the School of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus five years grants and contracts administration and/or clinical research administration experience in an academic research center;
OR
Masters' degree plus two years grants and contracts administration and/or clinical research administration experience in an academic research center.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a medical research environment
Knowledge of FDA and other federal regulations related to human subject research
Experience with contract review and negotiation.
Master's degree (or equivalent experience) preferably in science, engineering, business, or law.
Paralegal or legal background is a plus.
Certified IRB Professional Certificate through PRIMR or Certified Research Contracting Professional through MAGI)
