RESPONSIBILITIES
Full-time, Salaried: Maintain 25 billable hours per week (105 per month)
Hourly: Maintain a 75% billable hour ratio for weekly hours - Pick your cases
Develop and supervise the delivery of consumer-focused ABA autism therapy treatment plans and programs.
Complete evidence-based assessments, reassessments, and report results per deadlines
Assess the client and family's strengths, needs, abilities, preferences and goals
Consult with clients and provide continuous program direction and maintenance
Deliver therapy in several environments including but not limited to; clinic, home, school, and/or community based on the client's needs
Direct implementation of individualized treatment, behavior plans and data collection system
Analyze data/behavior and make ongoing data-based decisions
Develops and guides ongoing implementation of teaching procedures
Ensures program directives are implemented accurately and timely
Facilitate regularly scheduled IBHS supervision of Behavior Technicians
Support Technicians with training and professional development opportunities
Mentor Technicians to standardize and implement individualized clinical protocols
Create curriculum and other resources for new training and treatment programs
Disseminate resources to staff and families, as appropriate
Effectively collaborate with all StepOne team members, community agencies, schools, medical practices, therapy providers and other entities as appropriate
Strictly adhere to BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code and IBHS regulations
Serves as a point-of-contact and coordinator for team meetings involving behavior technicians, healthcare professionals, clients, and caregivers
Schedule Technicians for services
Actively participate in weekly clinical meetings
Engage caregivers and facilitate skill transfer in a manner most appropriate for the care of the client
Leads all client meetings to provide guidance and training to caregivers
Provide product, technical, and innovative insights to the technical team, including but not limited to:
Provides recommendations for high quality and evidence-based delivery of ABA and autism therapy with implementation of cutting-edge technology
Recommends innovations and applications to improve delivery of, and satisfaction with, ABA therapies and child-centric applications
Provides recommendations to improve therapy workflow and therapist job satisfaction
Ensure that the above enumerated responsibilities are being performed in accordance with the most up to date Applied Behavioral Analysis clinical standards, guidelines, and protocols and the BACB code of practice and ethical standards
Ensure that the above enumerated responsibilities are being performed in accordance with StepOne's quality standards, policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a Master's Degree and a valid PA State Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) license and meet the criteria therein:
Acceptable driving record and proof of insurance
Exceptional interpersonal skills with staff and families, collaborative, and team-oriented
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Creative and open-minded
Compassionate, empathic, and caring with a great determination to succeed
Interest in technical innovations applied to behavior therapy
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is performed in a variety of locations and may require travel; as such a driver's license and insurance will be required. This role requires the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing - including frequent talking, hearing, writing, typing, reading, and significant comprehension. This role assists with working with young children that will regularly require moving quickly, crouching, and sitting on the floor. The employee frequently is also required to sit, stand, walk briskly, use hands, and reach with arms/hands. Regular and consistent attendance required.
