As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide strong leadership to the manufacturing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Set clear expectations, mentor team members, and promote professional development.
Implement and maintain robust quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any quality issues.
Uphold and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement improvements as needed.
Monitor and manage manufacturing budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize material costs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing lean manufacturing principles and identifying areas for operational enhancement.
Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the manufacturing team.
Communicate regularly with senior management on production metrics, challenges, and opportunities.
Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Mechanical or Electrical a must- MS a plus.
Proven experience in plant management within a manufacturing environment for 10 years.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret data for strategic decision-making.
Implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
