This is a full-time internship position for our Fall/Spring Rotation, from September 16, 2024 through March 14, 2025 in Mountain View, CA.
BMW Technology Office USA in Mountain View, California is offering an interesting internship for a talented intern with a business and technology background and interest in the Automotive, Consumer Electronics as well as Technology industry. This position will involve working with tech players as well as startups and conducting innovation and technology scouting as well as managing ongoing business relations.
Key Responsibilities
Setup of various contracts with partners (e.g. Non Disclosure Agreements, Evaluation Agreements, Cooperation Contracts)
Strategic preparations of negotiations
Arranging partner meetings
Conducting market research
Preparation of management presentations.

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $27.50
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $35.00

Currently enrolled in a master's degree program at an accredited college or university
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application
Field of study: Business Administration, International Management, Technology (or related)
Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
Coursework and motivation in the following topics: General understanding of procurement & related processes, strategic understanding of business relations in a tech environment, legal knowledge on contracts, and basic principles of negotiations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
