We are seeking Integration Technicians to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role involves the assembly, testing, and integration of aerospace components, focusing on airframe elements including avionics and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities:
Assemble, test, and integrate aerospace components as per established procedures.
Set up and prepare new production work areas, ensuring all necessary tooling and equipment are available.
Transition projects from development to production phases, handling first article inspections.
Conduct hardware inspections and second-party verifications according to engineering models, drawings, and specifications.
Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions through modification, rework, repair, or maintenance.
Operate various material handling and precision measurement equipment.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency in the workplace.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to support safety standards like FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and ESD (Electrostatic Sensitive Devices) control.
Qualifications:
5-10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or a closely related field.
Proficient in fluids and tubing installation, electrical harness routing, or general aerospace/launch vehicle assembly.
Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Experience working with a diverse team and effectively communicating within it.
Basic digital literacy, including proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
Capable of climbing ladders/stairs, working in confined spaces, and lifting items up to 35lbs.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired Skills:
Trade school training, industry certification, or a degree in a related field.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing environments, with a preference for Six Sigma certification.
Military experience or experience handling large aerospace components.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
