AM/NS Calvert seeks SAP Software Engineers to fill software engineering roles for SAP functional analysis, development, and support. Daily activities include: Provides necessary coordination, facilitating interactive analysis and design sessions with representatives of business line and functional units; Provides guidance to business and functional units in developing tests and training plans and materials; Carries out detailed system design and writes specs for development; Specifies and applies testing and quality monitoring procedures; Provides day-to-day user support, as well as drives improved user productivity through developing and implementing new business process and systems solutions; Regular performance analysis of existing SAP functions to identify and diagnose inefficiencies within the system. This includes running and analyzing internal reports on system events and collecting data from technical support on problems reported by personnel; Identify and diagnose systemic problems or unmet needs for SAP functions, and design solutions through software architecture and programming methods; Perform complex configuring tasks to develop, model, and test proposed system solutions. This process involves the development of new software functions or modules and mathematical modeling necessary to test their compatibility with existing system software. Must have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field (foreign equivalent accepted). Must have 2 years of development experience with at least one of the following SAP modules in manufacturing or industrial environment: PM/EAM, APO PPDS, S/4 PPDS, or PP. Must be able to demonstrate involvement with at least one full lifecycle implementation project in SAP.
