Sto Corp. (Sto), a global innovation leader of building enclosure systems and high-performance, beautiful facade coatings, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for its StoVentecTM Rainscreen division. In this role, the Sr. Project Manager, StoVentecTM Rainscreen is responsible for the successful coordination of StoVentec Rainscreen projects, managing intake of projects - from estimating through to closing the sale. This role coordinates work internally with sales team, sales support, and operations, while also coordinating outsourced work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): • To manage and technically support the movement of a StoVentec Rainscreen project life cycle from pre-sale to post-sale. This involves managing the intake process, pre-construction, estimation, quoting, responding to bid requests in a timely manner, coordination of outsourced shop drawings and other services; work with sales support team to place order, shipping, toll orders, fabrication, and any other parties that touch the customer throughout the sales process. • Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget and in scope. • Monitors and reports on project's progress and performance. • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project. • Ability to push back when you don't have all information needed to proceed with a task or process and resourcefulness to get what you need. • Provide an excellent, seamless experience for our customers.
This is a hybrid remote/in-office position with mandatory in-office visits/trainings/meetings occurring throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for a hybrid work schedule to begin after initial onboarding training period with key team members.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Minimum Education: • Bachelor's degree in project management, building science, architecture, construction management, construction related certificates from technical college, or related work experience as a manager or supervisor in construction.
Minimum Experience: • 5 years technical service experience with a construction products manufacturer • 5 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects • 3 years managerial experience (preferred)
Essential Knowledge: • Project management methodologies • Construction methods and materials • Building science • Architectural detailing • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Project management software, CRM/ERP other quoting software • Drawing skills, CAD, BlueBeam, and/or Revit • Experience with architectural claddings/panels/Rainscreen (preferred) • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Able to communicate in Spanish or German (preferred)
