Primary Responsibilities:
Implementation and mapping of new and existing clients in Aderant/eBilling Hub
Provide timekeeper and matter information to clients
Prompt submittal of electronic invoices
Create and maintain new user accounts in the various eBilling websites,
Analyze invoices to ensure compliance, research rejected invoices and follow-up accordingly until invoices are submitted successfully
Oversee ebilling staff
Ensure accruals, budgets and ebilling deadlines are met
Assist collection team with their follow up on outstanding ebills and navigation of eBilling vendor websites
Utilize ebilling tracking system to ensure proper follow-up on outstanding invoices
Encouraging cyclical billing practices
Ensure the firm's policies are consistently and properly applied, seek and provide recommendations to improve firm's eBilling process
Consistently follow up on unbilled accounts, ensuring that all functions are completed timely and with high service levels
Assist with system upgrades, and anticipating and troubleshooting Issues from the perspective of policy, personnel/attorneys and clients
Assist with the training and development of staff
Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
REQUIRED: BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related experience, preferably in a LARGE legal services or professional services organization
REQUIRED: Knowledge of effective legal billing procedures and of computerized legal billing systems and electronic online billing applications (ADERANT Experience Required)
3+ years of related experience in Legal Billing
Strong computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office.
Strong typing/keyboard skills and be able to use a 10-key calculator by touch
Ability to self-direct, prioritize tasks and work with minimum supervision and with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and the willingness to work as part of a team are highly desired.
Ability to work occasional weekends or holidays if needed.
