Insight Global is searching for Sr. Healthcare Economics Analyst to join their Tallahassee based health insurance company. This individual will be working on the team's more senior function, working alongside 2 other more junior team members. They will be reporting to the company's Director of Analytics and Decision Support, who is directly into the CFO. They will be developing and implementing medical economic analysis for operational and finance support. This position works in close collaboration with various departments on a variety of business support functions to evaluate and monitor operational and financial results. This team is a reporting shop, reviewing pre-scripted, standardized reports. Once finished reviewing these reports, this individual will be manually analyzing claims to look for patterns and behavior variations to find cost-saving opportunities for the company. This role is one of the more senior ones on the team and may handle some communication at the senior/medical director level as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
* 2+ years of healthcare/insurance industry experience, working with codes, diagnostics, medical claims, health studies, contracts, etc.
