Job Description:

Job Summary



The St. Christopher's Hospital for Children RN Educator facilitates the professional role development and growth of nurses and other healthcare personnel along the continuum from novice to expert. Responsibilities include planning and coordination of nurse residency program and development of staff preceptor skills. The Educator will also work with the Professional Development team to onboard and orient nursing staff, develop and implement educational plans, and ensure that staff competency is maintained and consistent with regulatory requirements.

Education Requirements:


BSN required; MSN preferred


Experience:


Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience


Certification and Licensure:


PA Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support
