Inside Sales Representative

An Inside Sales Representative is a professional who converts pre-qualified leads and generates new business with new and existing customers by providing valuable information about Fastwyre’s products and services.

Inside Sales Representative responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.

What does an Inside Sales Representative do?

An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues in a clear, straight forward, and professional manner.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Maximize sales opportunities by effectively answering and handling inbound and outbound sales calls to acquire new customers.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
  • Ability to perform the job at the workstation for prolonged periods.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  • Educate customers on products, current marketing campaigns, and solutions
    any other duties assigned

Requirements and skills

  • Proven inside sales experience.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Enter orders promptly and accurately
  • Work with other departments, as necessary, to resolve customer issues
    • Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, and vendors.
    • Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.
    • Ability to work as a team member and exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal.
    • Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches.
    • Ability to function effectively as a team player.
    • Knowledge of and the ability to comply with Company’s Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) regulations and procedures.
    • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, as needed, to best serve our customers.
