Job Description:

This position will provide hands-on experience to individuals interested in pursuing a management career within a distribution center. This is a temporary position beginning May 2024. Individuals interested in getting an intense hands-on approach to the day-to-day production and management issues should apply.

Responsibilities
Assist the department supervisor in achieving daily departmental goals
Applying leadership skills to daily tasks to achieve goals
Learn logistics from a warehouse perspective
Assisting in various planning exercises and solving warehousing issues during the peak season
Perform routine but varied clerical tasks
Able to perform arithmetic
Able to communicate effectively

Required Skills
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to work in a fast paced, service oriented environment
Good leadership skills
Strong Communications skills
Ability to multi-task
Basic computer skills
Critical thinking skills needed
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to stand on feet 8-10 hours per day
Bilingual skills (English-Spanish) helpful but not mandatory
