This position starts at $21.65/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have an open position for first shift.

Job Description

• Set up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for removing guts from hog and placing in pans, while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.


• Responsible for setting up work area with all needed equipment.


• Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.


• Must also be able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.


• Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.


• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.


• Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.


• Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.


• Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.


• Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.

Must have at least 3 months of full-time work experience with a single employer in the last 18 months. This facility does not accept rehires.
