Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Safely pick up and transport waste in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Label containers and complete necessary paperwork for waste disposal.
• Process hazardous waste manifests and bills of lading according to regulations.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and internal staff.
• Operate heavy equipment such as hand trucks or forklifts as needed.

Hours:

This full-time position may require 2-3 overnights per month, with paid hotel expenses and a nightly per diem.

Pay:

Earn in excess of $61,000 - $66,000/year, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus available. Overtime opportunities are also available.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Preferred qualifications include air brakes, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements, TWIC Card, experience driving box trucks, and knowledge of Environmental/Regulatory/DOT rules and regulations.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
