Clinical Instructor of Nursing
Hartwick College Department of Nursing is accepting applications on a continuing basis for adjunct instructors for both our clinical and laboratory based nursing courses. Clinical sites include acute and long term care agencies in Otsego County. Requirements include a master's degree in nursing, a bachelor's degree in nursing, an unencumbered NYS RN license, and at least three years of recent clinical experience. Consideration will be given to those candidates possessing a bachelor's degree in nursing who are actively engaged in coursework leading to a master's degree in nursing. Prior teaching experience and/or prior teaching at the collegiate level is preferred. Duties may include teaching in the clinical and/or laboratory setting, evaluation, and collaboration with course coordinators. This pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis, should an opportunity arise, and applications submitted will remain active for up to two years.
