Position Overview: Seeking a dedicated Nurse Team Leader to join our team in the TFH/APC department. The Nurse Team Leader will perform nursing duties, assist providers in the clinic, and lead the clinic nursing team to ensure high-quality nursing care for our patients. This role involves directing nursing staff, collaborating with medical providers, and maintaining patient confidentiality and respect at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, guidance, and support for the clinic nursing team
Ensure adequate staffing in the nursing department
Delegate tasks and manage inventory of supplies
Assist with direct patient care and triage
Manage vaccine stock and inventory
Address employee performance issues and provide improvement plans
Communicate with the clinic manager regarding time-off requests for the nursing team
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (or until all patient care is completed)
Saturday rotation, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Typically, one afternoon or full day off per week
Qualifications:
RN or LPN license in the state of Nebraska
One year of previous clinic experience preferred
Current CPR certification
Experience in a leadership role beneficial
