Job Description:

Join Clean Earth and contribute to environmental sustainability by becoming an Environmental Technician II. You'll play a crucial role in treating and processing waste, ensuring compliance with company practices and procedures to support a cleaner, greener planet.

Responsibilities:

• Know the location and treatment process for inbound waste streams.
• Treat and process waste using onsite equipment, including pit mixing, drum pumping, drum dumping, and basic hi-lo and wheel loader skills.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and in accordance with company practices and procedures.
• Collect samples of inbound waste for compatibility testing.
• Unload bulk liquid trucks to proper tanks and resolve/report issues with inbound loads.
• Operate hi-lo and end loaders safely.
• Have knowledge of waste streams and their treatment protocol.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

• 2+ years of prior experience working with industrial waste products.
• Ability to wear company-provided personal protective equipment, including eye protection, steel-toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Windows-based programs (e.g., Excel and Word).
• Ability to operate facility equipment or willingness to be trained.
• Able to work in a team environment or alone based on business needs.
• Good attendance record and safe work history.
