Job Description:
Nienhuis Financial Group is working with one of our clients to help hire a Bookkeeper in the Grand Rapids/Wyoming, MI area.
Unlimited Autogroup, a Grand Rapids auto service and bodywork shop, is seeking a full time
Bookkeeper.
Candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and available to work on-site at the shop Monday - Friday from 8 am- 4pm.
The job is a mix of the following:Accounts Payable:
- Enter invoices and payments in accounting system
- Run/write checks
- Track work order costs
- Run reports as needed for owner
Accounts Receivable:
- Receive customer payments
- Apply payments in accounting system
- Assemble/make daily deposits
- Monitor account aging and make collections calls
- Run reports as needed for owner
Customer Service
- Provide service for individuals and corporate car accounts
- Answer phones, assist customers and/or direct calls
- Assist walk-in customers
- Schedule service appointments for customers
Payroll
- Manage electronic timecards
- Prepare payroll data for processing by outside firm
- Run reports as needed for owner
What we are looking for:Education & Experience Required
High school diploma required; an associate degree in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred
Previous experience required includes
- 3-5 years' accounts receivable/accounts payable experience
- 1-2 years' experience using QuickBooks Online
- 1-2 years customer service experience
This position reports to the General Manager
Daily interactions will include customers, vendors, Service Manager, Body Shop Manager, other employees, and vendors
