Salary depending on experience, but full time will range within $40,000-$85,000/yr. Our client is looking for Tax Preparers with public accounting experience preferably, or tax prep experience in general! Their firm is a full-service accounting and consulting firm providing high-quality services for over 35 years. Our industry expertise includes real estate, nursing homes, restaurants and professional service providers. As a mid-size local firm, they are heavily involved in the community and provide a personalized experience to their clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare Individual and business tax return - 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 1041
Tax Planning
Assist preparation of financial statements
Assist on audits
Perform accounting processes specific to the area or business unit assigned.
Qualifications:
Public accounting experience preferred
CPA Certification (preferred not required)
Tax prep experience required
Skills & Attributes:
Strong organizational skills and display attention to detail
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
