A reputable non-profit company is looking to hire a full-time Contract Accountant here in Milwaukee, WI (53212). This role will be an open-ended contract role for (potential to hire) and is looking to interview/start immediately!
Pay: $24-33/hr (based on experience)
Address: Milwaukee, WI (53212)
Schedule: M-F, 8:30am - 5pm
Hybrid: Will be 100% on-site to start with potential for hybrid (2-3 days) once fully trained
Principal Duties:
Contract management and billings
Submit quarterly cost reimbursement reports.
Work with state and local municipalities
Provide cost reports which basically cover funds that they expended - costs for personnel, statutory benefits accumulated
Contract accountant - reading contract, preparing, put project budget together, complete forms related to budget and budget proposal. Make amendments to project budgets. Every quarter, put together cost and budget report, reimbursement request, for agency to pay them for dollars they've expended for that project.
30 individual projects - federal, state, and local
Other standard accounting stuff - bank reconciliations, general ledger
Make modifications to the proposal, accumulate information needed to build cost report invoice
Must Have:
Prior non-profit or federal agency experience- getting comfortable with contracts
Prior experience with quarterly cost reimbursement/billings reports
Ability to interpret info, understand it, gathering info from other sources
