Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
2 or more years of experience in design, test, and integration of complex, high speed FPGAs
Experience with lab equipment
Ability to read, understand, and review schematic drawings
Experience with technical documentation
Ability to multitask and handle a dynamic work environment
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, test, and integration of complex, high speed FPGAs (mostly Xilinx)
Develop architectures compatible with embedded Linux environments.
Design and support top-level system simulations.
Fully document design details and hold a design review prior to implementation
Work in a fast-paced development team, working closely with hardware and software engineers during test and integration
Translate system requirements into FPGA architectures.
Develop FPGA designs using HDL (VHDL, System Verilog, etc.).
Support systems integration and Test Engineering to produce functional designs.
Implement and contribute to the architecture of current and next generation multi-megapixel camera systems, interfacing with the Camera Link and SpaceWire standards.
Design systems capable of handling Imager data and Image processing (Embedded Camera Development).
Create and document test plans to assure integrated performance meets specification.
