Description: The QA Technician will be responsible for testing product samples from Production and Incoming Materials as well as ensuring HACCP/quality/GMP regulations are being followed accurately. Running lab tests including GC and LC testing. Will also complete floor tests include metal checks, screen checks, weight checks, and packaging verification. Also will be conducting Environmental Testing by swabbing throughout the plant. Duties will also include sample identification, preparation of QA records and product clearance. They will work closely with the Manufacturing team on the floor and in a lab environment. Will be required to ensure employees uphold Food Safety and Quality standards including GMP's, SQF, FDA, PCQI and customer requirements. 60% lab (running physical and sensory tests) / 40% floor (pulling samples, swabbing, etc.) All products are powder products (non-dairy creamers, hot chocolate, powder cheese, etc.) Skills: Biology, laboratory, haccp, Chemistry, Microbiology, Laboratory, Technician, Analytical, pH, Samples, Swabbing, Sensory, Fats, Moisture, batch record, fda, inspection, food safety, quality control, quality assurance, food quality Top Skills Details: Biology,laboratory,haccp Additional Skills & Qualifications: 1. BS Degree 2. 1 plus years of proven work history. 3. Have to have great communication skills. 4. Microsoft Office, Excel skills required (Basic skills including entering data into spread sheets)
