Job Description:

We have an opening for a Front-end Development Manager to lead the web development team and drive the growth, evolution, and optimization of its website and supporting platforms.


As the manager of this front-end development team, you will report to and work closely with the Digital Marketing team and partnering functions in Creative & Brand and Product Marketing to bring new brand, design, and conversion-oriented concepts to life. Representing a highly trafficked, high-quality website with a 90 domain authority score, your team's work will play a critical role in the growth and success of marketing initiatives as well as educating small business customers on effective digital marketing solutions to support their businesses. 


What you'll do:


  • Assessing and modernizing the front-development design-to-release process, improving QA and deployment speed and agility

  • Building a plan to optimize the website's CMS, tagging, and analytics integrations for optimal performance

  • Researching industry trends and best practices in SEO, CMS management, A/B testing, and CSS/visual coding effects to drive continuous improvements in website engagement and conversion

  • Coaching and managing members of the team; developing specialized skills

  • Leading and participating in website strategy discussions and decisions; providing recommendations for efficient, effective ways to execute

  • Advocating for clean code, robust design, and efficient solutions to complex challenges 

Who you are:


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing Front-end Developers/UX Engineers on high-performance, conversion-oriented B2B websites is needed to be successful in this role

  • 3+ years experience building or managing high-trafficked (2M+ visitors/month), scaled lead generation websites is required

  • Experience leading CMS migrations and re-platforming, specifically with WordPress, WP-Engine, and Contentful is required

  • Experience integrating and governing a stack of Analytics, tag manager, marketing automation, CRM, A/B testing, user insights, and similar martech platforms

  • Robust knowledge of add-on libraries to solve for security, spam, bot, and other web hosting and management solutions

  • Experience managing and integrating best practice GDPR and opt-in policies into webforms
