As our Global Total Rewards Leader, you will bring a forward-thinking, creative and collaborative approach to working with our global business and HR team. You will be a true strategic partner that provides support, guidance and advice on all total rewards project, and you will engage in collaborative decision-making with respect to new initiatives within the areas of HR systems, compensation, benefits & wellness and payroll. The role is operational, analytical and strategic and will require a "leader-doer" approach.
This role reports to the Head of Global Talent Experience (HR) and will lead a team of four professionals. Based in Itasca, IL, we operate in a hybrid work environment that offers two remote days (Mondays and Fridays).
You will…
In conjunction with our Finance Partner, provide support to define our methodology, architecture and performance metrics of our incentive compensation programs, ensuring all plans are competitive and in compliance
Develop appropriate tracking and reporting to complement our incentive programs
Benchmark company programs and monitor external trends in order to provide advice and guidance to proactively adjust programs to ensure market competitiveness
In collaboration with the Head of Global Talent Experience (HR), prepare presentation materials for ELT and BOD/Compensation Committee
Establish and enforce international or global governance standards for all compensation and incentive programs, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance with local regulations and company policies across diverse geographies
Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health and welfare, retirement, wellness, and other perks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and market trends
Manage the open enrollment process and annual compensation cycles, including planning, communication, and coordination of activities to ensure smooth execution and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Provide strategic direction and leadership in the optimization of HRIS systems and tools to streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and support informed decision-making
Manage payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll cycles, compliance with local regulations, and effective management of payroll-related vendor relationships
Lead a high performing Total Rewards team responsible for managing compensation, payroll, benefits, and HRIS functions, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a customer-centric approach to service delivery
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to conduct benchmarking and analysis of total rewards programs, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance employee experience and engagement
Stay well-informed of emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in compensation, benefits, HRIS, and payroll domains, and proactively adjust strategies and programs as needed to maintain competitiveness and compliance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of total rewards processes and systems, leveraging technology and automation where possible
What You Bring to the Team
A minimum of six (6) years of progressive professional experience in Human Resources with responsibility for compensation, benefits, systems, and payroll at both strategic and operational levels
Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and managing competitive and effective total rewards programs across multiple geographies, including knowledge of local regulations and market practices
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw meaningful insights, and make data-driven recommendations to support decision-making
Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and empower a diverse team of professionals to achieve results and drive continuous improvement
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, a collaborative approach, and a track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in HRIS systems and tools, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
Ability to occasionally travel domestically and internationally as needed
