As a Licensed Practical Nurse for Homeland Hospice, you would contribute to our community of caring by providing direct support to patients and family members during a significant part of their life journey.

This is a Part-Time, Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, every other weekend, position.This position requires a valid Pennsylvania RN or LPN license, a valid Pennsylvania drivers license, and reliable internet access.

As a Part-Time Weekend Hospice Nurse, you would be eligible for:
Competitive Pay Rates, with portal-to-portal mileage paid at $0.54/mile.Referral Bonus opportunities.

As Homeland Hospices Part-Time Weekend Nurse you would provide skilled nursing care to the hospice patient and education and support to the family and caregiver, as directed by the supervising Assistant Director of Clinical Services, in compliance with Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation, Pennsylvania licensure laws and agency policies and procedures. Provide timely documentation of patient services based on the patients plan of care. Work closely with other members of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to ensure all patient and family care needs are being met.

Part-Time Weekend Nurse Requirements include:
Education and Experience Requirements:Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.Minimum of one-year general nursing, preferred with current hospice, home health, medical, surgical, or critical care experience.Experience with pain and symptom management interventions preferred.Ability to work within an interdisciplinary setting.Ability to work independently.Understanding of Hospice philosophy, principles of death/dying.

Licensure, Registration, and Certification Requirements:Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license.Valid drivers license and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with Pennsylvania state requirements and agency policy.Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.Satisfactory criminal background check.Maintains current CPR certification.Access to reliable internet access.
