Salary: $200,000.00 USD Annually - $225,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Director, Clinical Operations for a permanent/direct hire position that can sit remotely, but will require occasional visits to the NYC metro

• Formulate clinical operational strategy and ensure clinical research programs are carried out with excellence and efficiency, punctually, within budget, and in alignment with company goals.


• Transform asset strategy into operational action by formulating the clinical operations plan and linking the science with the business, operations, patients, and our clients.


• Recognize and assess risks and mitigations at the program level for achieving the asset strategy.


• Engage with and sway all tiers of management and cross-functional team members to accomplish program goals and represents Clinical Operations at high-level cross-functional meetings.


• Examine and contribute clinical operations content to clinical and regulatory documents.


• Implement clinical programs in adherence with quality standards (ICH/GCP, Global Regulations, and Company policies and procedures).


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Comfortable with not possessing all the information yet capable of driving activities and finding solutions to deliver on the program.

Required Education/Qualifications/Skills

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is mandatory


• 10+ years of experience related to Pharma/ clinical operations (and/or relevant work experience)


• Must have 8 years (and/or relevant work experience) in clinical research demonstrating a high degree of core, technical, and leadership competencies through the establishment and driving of strategy.


• Demonstrated skill in leading a global team in the management and completion of multiple, complex clinical studies.


• Expertise in Subject Matter and competent in the application of standard business procedures (SOPs, ICH, Global Regulations, Ethics, and Compliance)


• Active participation in initiatives or advancement strategies for clinical operations


• Experience in successful study initiation through study completion/primary data analysis and in multiple phases of studies (Phase 1-3)


• Must have strong communication skills.
