Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD Annually

Need a good JD Edwards programmer


Remote USA is OK


no C2C or sponsorship at this time.


Salary in the 90-100k range plus 10-12% bonus


Duties:


Create documentation when appropriate.


Provide detailed status updates when needed.


Log accurate information into the time-tracking system.


Support all applications.


Continuously learn new tools, environments and acquire new skills to maintain and enhance job performance.


Ensure Company Methodology is followed.


Ensure requirements and development deliverables match the design specifications.


Ensure that the test plans match the requirements.


Ensure that the test results match the test plans.


Provide high-level and detailed estimates.


Provide high-level and detailed developer specifications.


Create an appropriate test environment for the project team to work with and validate the delivered solutions.


Provide the appropriate implementation documentation for installs.


Manage and execute the system-testing process and UAT process.


Support the implementation and post-implementation activities.


Participate in on-call rotation that provides 24/7 support to the business as needed.


A teammate in this position must have:


6-8 years of programming experience with JDEdwards World software & RPG programming in an iSeries environment using skills/technologies below:


RPG versions: RPGII/III/IV/ILE on an iSeries platform.


Turnover, CL, SQL, Jira, MS tools.


Coding experience with JDEdwards World Software & experience with DSI DcLink.


Minimum of 3 years senior-level experience working and supporting medium to large projects.


Experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle.


Mainframe:


Technical skills - IBM Mainframe, MVS/TSO COBOL DB2/Stored Procedures, JCL.


Subset skills - CICS Online, Data Transport FTP/MQ, Geac-Millinium, PacBase, AFP.


Middleware services:


Technical skills - UNIX/LINUX, ORACLE Application/Database, ORACLE PL/SQL, Java Applets/JSP's.


Subset skills - Gentran, ASP, MQ, UDB, Printing-Forms Path, Handheld, C/C++.


Subset skills - People Soft HR/Payroll/Benefits - People Code, Workflow, Forms, Reports - Java Portal/Applets/JSP's.


Subset skills - Oracle E-Business Suite - Financials, WMS, Purchasing, Forms, Reports.


Bachelor's degree or equivalent, related experience.


Four years of programming and/or applications analysis experience.


Have 4-5 years of broad-based experience in specific and related disciplines of the business.


Ability to work independently and with other team members.
