Responsibilities:


  • Plans, conducts and leads complex financial, operational, technical, and/or project audits that evaluate risks and controls for the various departments and/or System to ensure compliance with the organization's policies, procedures and standards.  


  • Identifies controls, assesses processes, documents work performed and develops recommendations. 


  • Prepares audit reports and conducts meetings with various level of Bank management to effectively communicate audit results and recommendations.  


  • Effectively provide work direction as Auditor in charge, give guidance to other auditors, and may participate in onboarding new employees. 


  • Acquires and applies a detailed knowledge of assigned primary audit areas, a general knowledge of secondary resource audit areas, and System level activities. 


  • As appropriate, may apply complex information processing and communication technology knowledge to audit areas. 


  • Works independently and receives minimal guidance.  


  • As Auditor-in-Charge, provides support to department management in the areas of staff direction, training, and workpaper review.


  • Plans, completes and may lead complex assignments and projects related to department, Bank, and System activities. 


  • Demonstrates strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.


  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.  


  • Exhibits a high level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, organizational skills, and attention to detail.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • To be considered for Senior Auditor: Bachelor's degree AND four (4) years of Audit and/or job-related experience OR a master's degree AND two (2) years of Audit and/or job-related experience.


  • To be considered for Principal Auditor: Bachelor's degree AND six (6) years of Audit and/or job-related experience OR a master's degree AND years (4) years of Audit and/or job-related experience.


  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology, automation, and analytic techniques to provide insightful perspectives in an effective and efficient manner.


  • Analytical thinker, problem-solver, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.


  • Collecting, organizing and synthesizing complex data; summarizing conclusions and developing recommendations independently.


  • Ability to work well with people from different disciplines, organizational levels, and with varying degrees of experience.


  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to execute risk-based auditing concepts and testing strategies


  • Self-motivated and proactive in managing workload and professional development.


  • Demonstrates strong analytical, written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and relationship building skills with business lines.


  • Professional certification is preferred (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.).


Salary Range for Auditor, Senior: $73,000 - $91,246 - $109,50 Annually.

Salary Range for Auditor, Principal:  $85,900 - $107,385 - $128,900 Annually.

Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
