Job Description:

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a System Administrator in Bethesda, MD.


Skills & Requirements


• Minimum two (2) years experience supporting computers systems running
• Microsoft Windows NT Unix or Linux operating systems
• Minimum one (1) year experience working in an IT engineering lab loading (file transfer via electronic or storage media), installing and maintaining the operability of commercial off-the-shelf computer and IT equipment and supporting software, system issues with IT hardware such as repeaters, bridges, routers, gateways, and hubs and operating systems such as Microsoft • Windows and Windows NT Sun Solaris and Red Hat Linux
• Minimum one (I) year of experience with computer networking protocols including, but not limited to TCP IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS
• Minimum five (5) years experience in systems administration of hardware and software in support of developing and testing of Information Technology s stems
• Experience with external network communications such as NSA Net
• Proficiency in working with applicable network devices to include repeaters, bridges, routers gateways and hubs
• Minimum five (5) years combined experience in the administration of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows NT, UNIX, and Linux operating s stems
• Minimum five (5) years experience with computer networking protocols including, but not limited to TCP, 11), UDP, HTTP DHCP, and DNS
• Minimum ten (I O) years experience in systems administration of hardware and software in support of for developing and testing of Information Technology s stems
• Experience with external network communications such as NSA Net
• Proficiency in working with applicable network devices to include repeaters, bridges, routers gateways, and hubs
• Minimum seven (7) years combined experience in the administration of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows NT, Unix, and Linux operating s stems
• Minimum seven (7) years experience with computer networking protocols including, but not limited to TCP IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP and DNS
• Minimum five (5) years combined experience supporting Java development activities, including applets, Java Server Pages, and J2EE frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring, Struts or Java Server Faces JSF
• Minimum five (5) years combined experience supporting C and C++ development activities
• Minimum five (5) years experience with integrated processing environments such as a Storage Area Network
• Minimum two (2) years combined experience supporting HTML, XML, and WEB-based Graphical User Interface/portal development activities
• Minimum two (2) years experience in writing scripts
• Experience in developing and delivering briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to senior program management
