JOB SUMMARY



This position will report to the VP of MD Programs and is responsible for the overall management and development of the Clinical services for consumers. The Director shall work with the Vice President of Maryland to ensure the provision of services that promote the clients ability to participate in appropriate community activities, and enable the individual to develop the daily living skills needed for independent functioning. The Director shall have operational oversight of Clinical programing including recruiting, hiring, training and supervision of staff. In addition, the Director shall implement and monitor the operating budget. The Clinical Director ensures the Programs operate and deliver services in accordance with current policies and procedures, contract requirements, and federal, state and local regulations.

  • Provide quality services and ensure programs meet all expected program outcomes, contract/licensing/accreditation requirements as well as the expectations of the persons served.
  • Measurable Evidenced Based Practices implemented within programs.
  • Successful satisfaction surveys and stakeholder program reviews.
  • Secure and maintain applicable service line/program accreditations

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the overall health, safety, and operations of all program and facility components.
  • Assist in developing the programs annual budgets(s), and manage program operations and services in accordance with the budgets, including revenue and expenses.
  • Develop and implement effective consumer services and activities.
  • Ensure complete residents and programs records are generated and maintained in accordance with policies and procedures and contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as liaison between the programs and funding/regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure all applicable federal, state, and local government and contractual regulations and requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Assist with the recruitment, manage and maintain effective program staff.
  • Ensure effective resident and staff meetings are conducted in accordance with agency requirements. Conduct pre-service and in-service training for staff.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain program operating documents including Policies and Procedures, Operations Manuals, etc.
  • Compile and/or monitor all required reports.
  • Attend all work related meetings and training as required or needed.
  • Assist in organizing, holding and facilitating Advisory Board Meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.




  • Qualifications




    REQUIREMENTS




    • A Masters degree in a human services related field
    • Three-five years experience in human services, substance abuse services, program management and supervision is preferred.
    • Preferred: LCSW-C or LPC in the State of Maryland or be eligible for MD license.
    • The successful candidate must have effective oral and written communication skills
    • be able to develop effective working relationships with consumers, staff and community partners, and be able to motivate groups and individuals.
    • Strong organization skills, problem-solving skills and judgment are desired.
    • Must be able to multitask, prioritize workload, meet critical deadlines and comfortably work with confidential employee and employer information.
    • Must possess outstanding team building skills and the desire to work with people.
    • Be able to proficiently utilize technology, metrics, and standard processes.
    • Strong PC skills in a Windows environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Bilingual in any language a plus.
