The Campus Visitation Assistant is a highly professional, flexible, composed, organized, and personable individual. They will support the Director of Campus Visitation with coordinating and planning all on-campus events hosted by the Office of Admissions, including daily campus visits, shadow visits, open houses, Scholars Day, Hatter Saturday, counselor events, transfer student events, etc. Other responsibilities include answering the phone, providing superior customer service, scheduling meetings for admissions and various offices, tracking data and creating reports, working with sensitive issues requiring high levels of confidentiality, and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employment duties will include, but not be limited to:
Assist with planning, creating, and implementing all on-campus events, including communication prior to events, day-of activities, and post-event communication and evaluationsParticipate in on-campus admissions events in the evenings and on weekendsComprehensive appointment scheduling and organization of faculty, staff, students, vendors, caterers, and entertainmentBrainstorm and implement event concepts and themesIndependently research, recommend, and execute efficiency practices and procedures for office management related to campus visitationAssist with training, guidance, and supervision of student ambassadors; being able to help students grow and learn professional skills is keyProvide support in the Lynn Presentation Room with technology needs of university constituents utilizing the spaceCheck admissions visit requests; this includes responding and disseminating as needed, as well as sending visit confirmation emails to familiesDevelop expertise in CRM and event software systems (Technolutions Slate)Must become knowledgeable about all aspects of Stetson University, including but not limited to academic programs, campus events and activities, orientation, athletics, housing, college policy, and important datesPerform other site and position-specific functions as assignedBased on the needs of the office, the Campus Visitation Assistant may be called upon for other tasks at short notice

Required Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and one (1) year of experience in recruitment, marketing, and event planning, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
