About This Role


Viskase, a global leader in the food packaging industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Manager of Project Management to join our team. As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in building a project process and overseeing project management activities and the project portfolio for a mid-market company. With 8 to 10 years of project management experience, including 4 years in a manager or senior role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project management methodologies, planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects, and managing project resources, budgets, and timelines. Your expertise in developing project management frameworks for mid-size global manufacturing companies, along with prior experience managing multiple SAP rollout projects for a global organization and managing SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4 Hana, will be essential to your success in this role.


Essential Responsibilities



  • Establish a Project Management process, designing the framework for effective project delivery and governance, including relevant processes, policies, and tools.

  • Utilize your experience in developing a project management framework tailored to the needs of a mid-size global manufacturing company.

  • Develop and maintain effective project management methodologies to drive successful project delivery and ensure consistency across all projects.

  • Oversee project management activities, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and within established timelines and budgets.

  • Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, aligning them with strategic objectives and business goals.

  • Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines, while identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.

  • Actively manage individual projects, providing guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Take ownership of the project portfolio, prioritizing projects based on business objectives and resource availability.

  • Educate employees on the project methodology and promote adoption across the organization, fostering a culture of effective project management.

  • Lead the roll-out of the project methodology to global IT teams, ensuring standardization and best practices are implemented worldwide.

  • Apply your prior experience in managing multiple SAP rollout projects to a global organization, with experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4 Hana highly desired.

  • Utilize your expertise as a consulting project manager, drawing from your experience across various industries.


Education and Requirements


 



  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in project management, with at least 4 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.

  • Proven track record of successfully overseeing project management activities and delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing project management frameworks for mid-size global manufacturing companies.

  • Prior experience managing multiple SAP rollout projects to a global organization is essential, with experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4 Hana greatly desired.

  • Work experience as a consulting project manager across various industries would be highly valuable.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Familiarity with the IT industry and its trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Develop metrics and dashboards to demonstrate the value of the projects and programs implemented.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proven ability to educate and train employees on project management methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
