Direct and perform all engineering tests with minimum supervision involving knowledge of power and control electronics, difficult circuits, electrical measurements, diesel engines assembly/disassembly/performance, electrical theory and calculations, testing operations and data acquisitions. Equivalent to two years certified electrical, electronics, mechanical or other appropriate technical training. A passing grade of evaluation is required prior to job placement.

Major Responsibilities:
Develop, setup, and execute assigned test requests in a lab environment
Attend and contribute to reviews with Lab leads, engineering, EHS, and others when necessary to review and approve proposed functionality or similar changes
Attend necessary safety and qualification training for working on electrical and mechanical test stands.
Work on and communicate effectively with a cross functional team of technicians, engineers, lab personnel in the lab
Provide technical expertise as needed to ensure test needs are met
Ensure all assigned test stands are up to date and calibrated properly
Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree in an Electrical / Mechanical discipline or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years of Military Technical Training or Electrical/Test experiences)
A minimum of 1 year of work experience in an industry related field
Knowledge of PLC Systems, mechanical prints, facility prints, electrical prints, and databases
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Knowledge in test instruments, data acquisition systems, and test equipment
Must be willing and able to work any shift

Ability to climb repeatedly and work from heights off ladders, platforms and scaffolds
Repeated bending, reaching above head, climbing and kneeling
Repeated straight pulling and pushing

Walking on slippery or uneven surfaces

Able to distinguish basic colors
Exposure to fumes/smoke from burning, paint vapors, and dust
