As a Security Solutions Architect at Verinext, you will play a critical role in driving our business growth by providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to our clients during the presales process. Leveraging your extensive experience in cybersecurity and presales, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to understand customer security challenges, architect comprehensive security solutions, and articulate the value proposition of our products and services to prospective clients. There is on-site presence of 3 days/week in our Blue Bell, PA office.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer security requirements and develop tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
Design and architect end-to-end security solutions, incorporating industry-leading technologies and best practices, to mitigate cyber threats and protect critical assets.
Conduct in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the capabilities of our cybersecurity solutions and services.
Work closely with customers to assess their existing security posture, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies.
Prepare and deliver detailed security proposals, including architectural diagrams, threat assessments, and compliance frameworks, to support the sales process.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights into emerging security threats, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback on product features, functionality, and enhancements based on customer requirements and market demand.
Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threat landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure Verinext's solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on presales engineering, solution architecture, or technical sales support.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including but not limited to network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, encryption, and security analytics.
Cyber Security and Security Operations including Threat Hunting
Proven track record of architecting and implementing complex security solutions for enterprise clients across various industries.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and security principles to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience with security assessment tools, risk management frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
